Shawnee was absolutely amazing! We can't say enough about her professionalism, warm spirit, and artistic ability. She captured some amazing moments - even in the dead of a rainy winter day. The photos are stunning, and we had a great time goofing off with Shawnee. She put us both at ease. She's definitely the BAMF you need taking your wedding photos. We can't wait to work with her again!

Shawnee is absolutely amazing. However she manages to capture the essence of us - goofy, sweet, ridiculous and tender - she does so with a special perspective even we couldn’t imagine. She instantly makes you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Throughout the process - both before, during, and after - she coached us patiently, was happy to explain what was going on, and had a beautiful, artistic vision for all the weird ass places we dragged her around to. Thank you for being with us during Just Another Day and freezing such perfect moments in time that we can truly treasure forever. We're actively looking for future opportunities to work with her again!

Shawnee was amazing. As soon as we met her, we knew she was the right fit. Affinity for the LGBTQ+ community, takes beautiful photos, and a great human we enjoyed spending all day with:). We are love with our pictures, and we legitimately had a blast taking them. Highly recommend!

I... I’m speechless! Omg. These photos are freaking incredible! I mean, I already knew I loved your work, but you’ve still managed to somehow totally knock my (and Tom’s!) socks off. They’re so beautiful! It’s art that makes my eyeballs happy, and features people we love! The moments that you captured are utterly priceless. You even photographed a tender moment between my Mum and Dad, which I don’t think has been caught on film since their own wedding day!

Mum and I were chatting a few days after the wedding, and remarking on how lucky it was that the internet gods led me to you. In particular we praised your non-intrusive photography style, and even she noticed that whenever there was a special moment or connection, she would look around and sure enough you were there capturing it. I also want to thank you again for the shoot in the park at dusk, with just the three of us. That was honestly one of the highlights of my day, it was a really surprising but welcome relief to be able to play with my husband in the park away from everyone’s attention. I always felt completely comfortable around you, and I honestly can’t tell you just how grateful and happy we are with the photos we have. I mean, really. You’ve absolutely blown us away.

So we finally had a chance to sit down with a glass of wine and watch the slideshow of of the STUNNING wedding shots you sent us, and all I can say is:

OMG I'M SO OVER THE MOON AND VERY LUCKY BECAUSE THESE ARE SO RIDICULOUSLY GORGEOUS AND AMAZING I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW FANTASTIC YOU ARE!!!!!!!

Like, SERIOUSLY, Damn woman! We watched it through 3 times in a row because they are so beautiful! I can't thank you enough for all the work and effort that went into this project for you, and I am simply in awe and admiration of your talent and expertise. You captured moments that I completely forgot happened, ones that I was so happy to witness even though I wasn't present for them, ones that made me and my heart smile so big! Rebecca said she can't believe how comfortable she felt being photographed the whole time, and that means a lot to me. The lighting, the tree, the smiles and laughs, the emotion, the things that all touched my heart, and made our wedding really feel like OURS...you just captured it all perfectly! I am so grateful, truly. You are amazing, and I'm so happy we have found you. I can't wait for something else major to happen for us so I can call you again!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Shawnee. The girl has some serious talent behind the camera, and she captured moments that we will forever cherish from our wedding day. I am not quite sure HOW she got some of the crazy shots she did, as she seriously just fit right in with our guests...I didn't even know she was snapping those pictures sometimes! She is super personable and fun and makes you feel completely at ease! Just hire her for your next photo session...you will NOT be disappointed.
